Colby Simkovic, 19 of Waynesburg was reunited and hugged into eternal love by all of his family and friends that went before him. Colby was born on September 20, 2001, in Washington, PA. He was the cherished son of Jerry and Carrie (Bedilion) Simkovic and the hero to his sister Morgan. WebAt just eight years old, Colby Simkovic was diagnosed with an extremely rare and aggressive, cancerous brain tumor. It's location, in the center of his brain, made it inoperable. Because a small community came together for their family, the Simkovics vowed to "Pay it Forward" and thus Colby's Stars Foundation was born.
